Laser Therapy
Laser therapy, or Photobiomodulation, is a treatment method that uses light energy to affect cells in the body. A therapeutic laser emits photons to damaged cells which increases a cell’s energy and thereby promotes healing. The ACTIVet Pro laser is safe to use and portable, making it an ideal option for treating pets. It can be used to treat various conditions including acute or chronic pain, tissue swelling, infections, and neurologic conditions. In some cases, a caregiver can be instructed on how to use a portable laser unit (My Pet Laser) so that laser therapy can be performed on a pet at home in order to help facilitate healing.
